  • Miss Understood No. 33 — The Top 4 Worst: Male Edition

    September 27th, 2022  |  45 mins 3 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

In Episode No. 33 of Miss Understood, we piggyback off last week’s episode and rank who we think the worst four men in the media are right now.

Leonardo DiCaprio is the first person we accuse of being the worst for his eco-hypocrisy and inability to date women over 25. He's an actor, a well-known climate activist and a cradle robber. He’s recently made a splash in the headlines for allegedly breaking up with his 25-year-old model girlfriend of four years due to her age and has been spotted mingling with Gigi Hadid, a rich kid, and famous model.

Second, and likely the worst, is Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — no explanation necessary.

The third man accused of being the worst is singer and frontman for Maroon 5, Adam Levine. He is married with kids, with another on the way, and despite denying it, has been accused of cheating on his supermodel pregnant wife with an “Instagram model.” We hope it was worth it, Adam.

Finally, everyone’s favourite queer-baiting homewrecker, Harry Styles, makes the list due to allegedly breaking up his now-girlfriend Olivia Wilde’s family while filming a movie and for keeping his sexuality ambiguous for attention.

    September 21st, 2022  |  50 mins 14 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

Local residents have been turning up to municipal debates in the city of Ottawa to hammer the prospective mayoral candidates about the massive climate change spending plan in the nation's capital.

Ordinary citizens are tasked with footing the bill so Ottawa politicians can pat themselves on the back for the difference they think they are making in the war on the weather with other people's money.

The cost for Ottawa's climate plan is $53 billion for the city to hit net-zero emissions by 2050, which is estimated to levy a bill of $60,000 to every man, woman and child in the city. And the ratepayers want answers and accountability.

The debates have turned into citizens demanding a cost-benefit analysis of climate policies and a social justice examination of the human cost of lithium batteries.

The politicians have been caught flat-footed and exposed. Now debate organizers have begun to screen questions in advance to protect the politicians from prickly questions from the unwashed masses.

Joining me tonight is Tom Harris from the International Climate Science Coalition. He explains what he has been seeing at the Ottawa debates and why he thinks it's been so effective at revealing just how clueless the climate cult is about their own ideas.

  • EZRA LEVANT | Global News is sinking faster than the Titanic — and they want more taxpayer money!

    September 21st, 2022  |  41 mins 25 secs

    GUEST HOST: David Menzies

Global News, along with its corporate master, Corus Entertainment Inc., are having a bad month.

While the month isn’t quite yet over, September has been brutally embarrassing for the Global News propaganda arm of the Trudeau Liberals. Indeed, to paraphrase a Queen Elizabeth descriptor, it has been mensis horribilus — a.k.a., a month of disaster and misfortune.

And as we proceed with the autopsy, where does one even begin?

On tonight's show, we'll look at the actions of two Global News journalists, David Akin and Rachel Gilmore.

GUEST: Franco Terrazzano of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.

  • EZRA LEVANT | Interview with Keith Wilson, the lawyer going to federal court to fight Trudeau's suspended ban on unvaccinated travellers

    September 20th, 2022  |  55 mins 33 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

We've interviewed our next guest several times. Keith Wilson, K.C. is a senior lawyer from Alberta who works with the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms.

One of the cases we've focused on with him is the case of Brian Peckford and other plaintiffs, who filed a lawsuit on constitutional grounds challenging Trudeau's ban on unvaccinated people flying.

In the second largest country in the world, one of the coldest countries in the world, to tell people to they can't fly and have to drive because they're unvaccinated — or they can ride in a bus — because apparently the virus knows to not attack you if you're in a bus but it will attack you if you're in a plane? There's no science there.

This lawsuit was filed many months ago and it has taken months to proceed, for various government witnesses to answer questions under oath. And it's on the eve of trial, but as you probably know, a few months ago suspended his ban on unvaccinated people flying. And so the government is saying that this lawsuit is now moot and shouldn't be heard at all.

But I think it's important that the lawsuit be heard. We need to know, was it legal? Could they do it again? I think our judges have been too deferential these past two and a half years.

On tonight's show, we have a feature interview on that subject with Keith Wilson.

  • Miss Understood No. 32 — We Do Not Consent

    September 20th, 2022  |  53 mins 34 secs
alberta, canada, conservative, culture, ezra levant, news, politics, pop culture, rebel, trudeau, trump

In Episode No. 32 of Miss Understood, we discuss author Louise Perry and her sentiments regarding the sexual revolution and its impact on women, including our society's attempt to blur the lines of what is acceptable in sexual encounters and how that impacts the meaning of consent. Perry's debut book, The Case Against the Sexual Revolution: A New Guide to Sex in the 21st Century, was published earlier this year.

We also debunk the claim that non-monogamy is the latest relationship trend to hit the United States and react to some of the ways people justify their polyamory.

Kelly Clarkson also recently spoke about the pressure she felt to be sexual as a rising star. So, we address our society's obsession with oversexualizing women and some of its implications.

Plus, female celebrities have been extremely annoying lately, which is why we decided to rank the worst four, pulling examples from Jennifer Lawrence, Olivia Wilde, Chrissy Teigen, and Kim Kardashian.
